Denso ADC (Long Beach, CA, USA) -- the US sales arm of Denso Wave -- has published a new guide to explain the basics behind the popularly used QR Code.

The QR Code is a two-dimensional (2-D) barcode that can hold many times more information than one-dimensional (1-D) barcodes, and in a smaller space.

In addition to being used in such diverse industries as manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, retailing, healthcare, life sciences, transportation and office automation, the QR Code is increasingly appearing in mobile marketing and advertising campaigns.

The new 12-page guide provides key facts and information about the QR Code and the technology associated with it.

The guide is available as a free download from the Denso website here.
