Pleora Technologies’ iPORT embedded camera interface has been chosen by PHOTONIS to help extend the NOCTURN family of digital low-light CMOS cameras and provide GigE Vision and USB 3.0 Vision connectivity. Pleora’s iPORT interface is a compact transmitter that reportedly enables rapid and low-risk creation of USB3 Vision-compliant cameras and other imaging devices. The NOCTURN camera is a compact, low-power CMOS camera with on-board electronics that provide automatic processing for gain control and image correction with a variety of interfaces that enable integration into new or existing systems.
