Andor launches 4 MPixel fiber optic CCD camera

Andor Technology’s iKon-L HF fiber optic camera features a CCD image sensor, a 2048 x 2048 pixel array, and a 13.5 μm x 13.5 μm pixel size, and is suitable for use in scientific imaging applications.

Andor Technology’s iKon-L HF fiber optic camera features aCCD image sensor, a 2048 x 2048 pixel array, and a 13.5 μm x 13.5 μm pixel size. The camera features a unique soft dock spring-loaded fiber optic design which allows it to be mounted against fragile instrumentation. It is fully integrated and supported in a range of third party software using Andor’s software development kit, including MATLab, LABView, and EPICs. It can also be operated with Andor’s own standalone software interface SOLIS. The iKon-L HF camera is suitable for use in scientific imaging applications.
