LMI Technologies' Gocator 3100 series is the latest addition to the Gocator all-in-one3D smart sensor family. It uses blue LED projection and stereo scanning technology to enable industrial scanning, delivering 3D point clouds, measurements, and control decision capabilities in a single package. Touted as the industry’s first all-in-one 3D smart snapshot sensor and the first of the 3100 series, the Gocator 3110 was designed to acquire full field scans quickly to inspect multiple features of parts with full 3D visualization. The 3110 features a scan cycle of 5 Hz, a near field of view of 60 x 105 mm, a far field of view of 90 x 160 mm, GigE interface, and a measurement accuracy of +/- 50 µm. These snapshot sensors from LMI Technologies are suitable for use in product assembly inspection, whether in robotic or stationary inspection stations.
