Vieworks to showcase three machine vision cameras at VisionChina 2014
Vieworks will showcase its VNP pixel shift camera, its VL 8k and 16k cameras, and its VC-12MX CoaXPress area scan camera at VisionChina 2014 from March 18-20 in Shanghai. The VNP series VNP-29MC-M/C5 is a nano stage pixel shift camera with thermoelectric Peltier cooling. The 6,576 x 4,384 pixel camera also features a Truesense Imaging KAI-29050 CCD image sensor with 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size and a 5 fps frame rate. Pixel shift technology, which based on a precise piezoelectric stage, allows image captures as high as 260 million pixels using the VNP-29MC cameras. These cameras are suitable for use in applications such as FPD inspection, document/film scanning, research, and scientific imaging.
VL series cameras from Vieworks are available in 8k and 16k models and feature AWIBA CMOS image sensors with a 3.5 µm x 3.5 µm pixel size or 7 µm x 7 µm pixel size, depending on the model. VL cameras feature programmable user settings, a Camera Link interface, and 40 kHz or 70 kHz line rate, depending on the model. These cameras are suitable for use in flat panel display inspection, printed circuit board inspection, and high-performance document scanning.
Lastly, Vieworks will showcase its VC-12MX camera, which is the company’s first CoaXPress area scan camera. The 12 MPixel VC-12MX features a CMOSIS CMV12000 CMOS image sensor with 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size and a maximum frame rate of 180 fps. The VC-12MX camera is suitable for use in PCB and semiconductor inspections, surveillance, and scientific imaging applications.
