InfraTec introduces 3.1 MPixel VarioCAM infrared camera

InfraTec has announced the release of the VarioCAM high definition infrared camera, which features a 1024 x 768 uncooled microbolometer focal plane array detector.

InfraTec has announced the release of the VarioCAM high definition infrared camera, which features a 1024 x 768 uncooled microbolometer focal plane array detector. The VarioCAM has a spectral range of 7.5 µm to 14 µm, a temperature measurement range of -40°F to 2,192°F, a measurement accuracy of ± 1.5 %, and a 15 fps (30 Hz). In addition, the camera features 32X digital zoom, LED video light, laser range finder, InfraTec’s EverSharp multifocal recording function, and a host of interfaces (GigE, DVD-D, C-Video, RS232, WLAN, USB 2.0, Bluetooth.) The VarioCAM camera is suitable for use in materials testing, electronics inspection, automotive inspection, aerospace, scientific imaging, and medical imaging applications. InfraTec will showcase the camera at the AUTOMATICA trade fair in Munich, Germany from June 3-6.
