One year after Basler launched its ace line of USB 3.0 cameras, it is now celebrating the anniversary by announcing a price cut for models ranging from VGA to 5 MPixel resolution. These USB 3.0 cameras feature CCD image sensors from Sony and CMOS image sensors from CMOSIS and Aptina and achieve frame rates from 14 fps to 165 fps, depending on the model. The cameras also come with Basler’s pylon camera software suit. In addition, the cameras work with C- or CS-Mount lens mounts, feature external triggering for synchronization and exposure control, can be used with Basler pylon Camera Software or third party USB3 Vision software, and are USB3 Vision and GenICam compatible. Basler’s ace USB 3.0 cameras now start at 199 €.
