FLIR Systems has announced the immediate availability of the FLIR ONE thermal imaging camera, which transforms an iPhone 5 or 5s into a handheld infrared camera. The FLIR ONE camera features a Lepton thermal imaging core, which features an 80 x 60 uncooled VOx microbolometer array with a pixel size of 17 µm x 17 µm and an exportable frame rate of 9 Hz. FLIR ONE can capture temperatures from 32°F to 212°F (0°C to 100°C), features an operating temperature range of 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C), and has a FLIR Lepton thermal camera core. It connects to the iPhone via the USB device and has an accompanying iOS app, FLIR ONE MX.
