A new driver for Basler’s pylon USB 3.0 automated installation kit (AIK) adapter will enable the use of Basler USB 3.0 cameras with Cognex’s VisionPro image processing software. Once the pylon camera software suite or pylon Runtime (U3V) has been installed, the AIK adapter will run on all 32 or 64-bit operating systems. The pylon software suite is intended to assist users with the optimal operation of Basler cameras and the development of customized software. Basler’s pylon USB 3.0 AIK adapter can be downloaded for free by clicking here, and an application note helps with the installation and setup of the driver.
