With the launch of the GO-5000M-PMCL and GO-5000C-PMCL cameras, JAI has introduced the first two models in a new line of small (29 mm x 29 mm x 41.5 mm) entry-level machine vision cameras. The cameras feature a 1", 5 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 5 µm x 5 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 107 fps over a two-channel, Power over Mini Camera Link interface. In addition, the Go cameras feature 8/10/12-bit digital output in monochrome or raw Bayer color models and have 60 dB linear dynamic range with built-in HDR modes. Included with the cameras is JAI’s Auto Level Control, which combines auto gain, and auto shutter capabilities in an integrated function to let users optimize their auto exposure control for lowest noise, fastest shutter, or other priorities. JAI is currently working on additional GO-5000 models with GigE Vision and USB3 Vision interfaces.
