Among the announcements made at NIWeek 2014 was the release of National Instruments’ LabVIEW 2014 system design software, which features a number of upgrades designed to help users acquire, analyze, and visualize data sets. New capabilities within LabVIEW include DataFinder Federation technology, which enables users to search data on a local drive, network, or around the world as well, as new built-in algorithms, including .m files to NI Linux Real-Time and vision functions to FPGAs. A new Data Dashboard for LabVIEW will enable users to securely create mobile interfaces to visualize acquired data and make informed decisions on-the-go without the expertise of a mobile developer. In addition, the latest LabVIEW release includes new application builder enhancements, block diagram enhancements, environment enhancements, and new LabVIEW suites.
