e-con Systems introduces barcode scanning software solution
e-Con Systems has announced the launch of its Spica barcode scanner software solution, which is compatible with any Windows OS-based platform, including Windows embedded. The Spica software package includes a software development kit for developing customized barcode applications, and is compatible with any DirectShow camera. Spica supports 2D barcodes such as AZTEC, Datamatrix, QR Code and 1D Barcodes such as Codabar, Code 39, Code 128, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC-E1, 128-A, 128-C, Interleaved 2-of-5 (IFT) and Ext39. It also includes dynamic libraries (Both C# and C++) and API developer guide. The system is compatible and available with e-Con’s See3CAM 80, which is an 8MPixel USB 3.0 camera with a CMOS image sensor and a small form factor (24mm x 8.5mm x 7mm).
