Being showcased at Vision China is the Perception Cam (mvPerCam) stereo optical system, which Matrix Vision touts as a “6D” camera that is able to capture dynamic objects, and recognize and analyse their size, position, and speed, as well as track the behavior in real time. The mvPerCam camera features three 1.3 MPixel global shutter CCD area array image sensors, a 1024 x 1024 image format, a 30 fps maximum frame rate, and a GigE interface. In addition, the camera has a detection range of 200 mm up to 2,500 mm. mvPerCam cameras are suitable for use in factory automation, robotics, process control, traffic, and medical technology applications.
