Attendees at Laser World of Photonics China/Vision China who visit the Edmund Optics booth will have the opportunity to see a number of machine vision demonstrations aimed at providing insight on selecting the right imaging lenses for your application needs. Demonstrations will include a side-by-side comparison of the TECHSPEC hypercentric lens (simultaneously images the top and sides of an object) versus a TECHSPEC telecentric lens (ideal for gauging and measurement).

In addition, Edmund Optics will showcase the new TECHSPEC variable magnification lenses in both non-telecentric and telecentric versions. These lenses are suitable for use in applications that may require require constant adjustment of a system’s field of view or to tune in an exact magnification, including semiconductor or electronics inspection as well as factory automation.
