VN Series pixel shift cameras, which use a piezo-crystal stage technology to micro-shift the image sensor to allow image capture as high as 260 MPixels, will be on display at the Vieworks booth at Vision China.

These cameras are available in five models: The VN-8MC, VN-11MC, VN-16MC, VN-29MC (all Camera Link models) and VN-25MX (CoaXPress model.) The Camera Link models range in size from an 8 MPixel camera that features an ON Semiconductor (Formerly Truesense Imaging) KAI-08050 CCD sensor that achieves a frame rate of 16.3 fps, to a 29 MPixel model that features a KAI-29050 CCD sensor that achieves a frame rate of 5 fps.

The CoaXPress model is a 25 MPixel camera that features an ON Semiconductor VITA-25K sensor that achieves a frame rate of 72 fps. All camera models are suitable for use in such imaging applications as flat panel display inspection, scientific imaging, and research and development.
