3D line scan cameras from Chromasens to be showcased at LASER World of Photonics
May 18, 2015
On display at the Chromasens booth at LASER World of Photonics will be the company’s 3DPIXA 3D line scan cameras. 3DPIXA cameras are stereo line scan cameras with tri-linear CCD sensors with a 10 µm pixel size and a line rate of up to 60 kHz. The cameras simultaneously capture two images of the same object to output both color images and 3D altitude data in real time. Height and shape are calculated using special algorithms running on the latest GPU designs, including the NVidia GTX Titan. 3DPIXA cameras—which feature Camera Link base and medium interfaces—are suitable for use in factory automation and machine vision applications such as electronics inspection, food and beverage inspection, pharmaceutical inspection, and automotive manufacturing.
