Teledyne DALSA’s Sapera LT (Version 8.0) image acquisition and control machine vision software development kit, is now available for free. The fully backward-compatible release offers new features and streamlined packaging for Microsoft Windows7, Windows 8.0/8.1, 64 and 32-bit platforms and supports image acquisition from devices built around the GigE Vision, Camera Link, and Camera Link HS interface standards.

One of the new features of Sapera LT includes TurboDrive technology, which delivers higher speed data and expands the data transfer capabilities of Teledyne DALSAcameras. TurboDrive uses a proprietary, patent-pending technology that assembles data from the sensor to optimize throughput, and take full advantage of sensor data rates and the camera's maximum data transfer capability.
