One customer that has already adopted Linux support is NASA, which has PixeLINK cameras running on a Linux platform that will be incorporated into future NASA systems.
"With the addition of the Linux Ubuntu support for our USB 3.0 line of cameras, PixeLINK has continued to expand our offerings to have the strongest line of USB 3.0 high speed industrial cameras in the market," said Paul Saunders, President of PixeLINK.

Prometheus USB 3.0 cameras are available in color and monochrome and are available with 1.3 MPixel, 2.2 MPixel, 2.3 MPixel, 4.2 MPixel, and 5.3 MPixel sizes.
