Pleora Technologies has announced an expanded focus on the European imaging market with a new channel partner and locally-based applications engineering support.

Rauscher is now distributing Pleora’s video interface products and providing applications support for imaging system manufacturers and integrators located in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, James Falconer—a key member of the applications engineering team and vice-chair of the AIA’s GigE Vision Technical Committee—will relocate from the company’s Ottawa headquarters to Munich, in order to provide direct support for all European customers.

"Rauscher has an established presence in the German imaging market, and will be a key partner as we continue to expand our presence in machine vision, medical, military, and automotive applications," said Harry Page, President, Pleora Technologies. "Our video interface products, coupled with Rauscher’s complimentary product line and skilled integration expertise, will help manufacturers speed design, lower costs, and enhance the value of their solutions to gain a competitive advantage."

Pleora’s video interfaces are deployed in more than 200,000 endpoints in industrial, medical, military, and transportation imaging systems worldwide.

"We work with world-class technology partners that deliver innovative solutions for manufacturers designing high-performance imaging systems," said Raoul Kimmelmann, Managing Director, Rauscher. "Pleora is recognized as a pioneer in the imaging market, and adding them as a technology partner strengthens our product offering and helps us address key performance, reliability, and scalability needs of our customers."
