Vimba 2.0 software—the latest iteration of Allied Vision’ssoftware development kit—offers a number of new features and widgets, including a new improved graphical user interface and support for Windows 10. Vimba 2.0, which can be used in combination with the company’s GigE Vision, Firewire, Camera Link, and USB3 Vision cameras, is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Linux for ARM, and with ARMv7 processor support, developers can design their Allied Vision camera into an embedded vision system. Additionally, the GenICam-based software can connect to third party software such as as Mathworks, Cognex, MVTec, Norpix, OpenCV, Matrox, and Common Vision Blox
