At VISION 2016, Fabio Perelli, Product Manager, Matrox Imaging, walked through a demonstration involving the company’s flowchart-based Matrox Design Assistant imaging software, version 5. In the demonstration described by Perelli, the company’s Design Assistant Software helped develop two separate projects, running on the company’s Matrox Iris GTR smart camera and 4Sight GPm vision controller, respectively, on a barcode reading applications. In addition to these components, a GigE and USB3 Vision camera were used for additional reading and verification purposes.

In a separate demonstration, Peter Boriero, Product Manager, described an application involving 3D profiling using Matrox Imaging’s new Radient eV-CXPframe grabber, Matrox Imaging Library software, a laser, and two industrial cameras.
