As evidenced at the VISION 2016 this past November, embedded vision a topic that is gaining quite a bit of momentum.
"Worldwide, embedded vision is making inroads. Interest is growing amongst a multitude of industries on what can be realized with these intelligent systems. Embedded VISION Europe 2017 will showcase embedded vision hardware and software platforms at an exhibition, as well as present applications and markets for the technology while creating a platform for networking and the exchange of information. The first-ever conference will be held in English and is organized jointly by the EMVA and Messe Stuttgart.
"Being the organizer of the world's leading trade fair VISION it is exciting to follow the development of industrial and non-industrial applications of embedded technologies. It is equally exciting to witness the cross-fertilization between newly developed computer vision processing platforms and industry-proven image acquisition devices, image analysis software and application solutions," saidFlorian Niethammer, Project Manager VISION at Landesmesse Stuttgart. "This is why; together with our partner EMVA in 2017 we will launch this conference on embedded vision targeting developers and users of embedded vision systems.
