GigE camera series from IDS Imaging Development Systems targets factory automation

Designed specifically for factory automation applications, the GigE uEye FA camera series from IDS Imaging Development Systems features a protection class of IP65/67 and is able to withstand dirt, dust, water, and cleaning agents in harsh environments.

Designed specifically forfactory automationapplications, the GigE uEye FA camera series from IDS Imaging Development Systemsfeatures a protection class of IP65/67 and is able to withstand dirt, dust, water, and cleaning agents in harsh environments. The cameras feature screw-on connectors, Power over Ethernet, and an 8-pin Binder connector for GPIO, trigger, and flash. The first model of the series features the 2.35 MPixel Sony IMX249 global shutter image sensor, which can deliver a frame rate of 41 fps at full resolution, even in low-light conditions. Additionally, the cameras feature the IDS software suite and an integrated image memory, which decouples image acquisition from image transfer. Future models will feature CMOS image sensors from Sony, ON Semiconductor, and e2v.
