Latest ace industrial cameras from Basler feature Sony IMX sensors

Twelve new models of Basler ace industrial cameras, which feature Sony IMX CMOS image sensors and GigE or USB3 interfaces, have been introduced. 

Twelve new models of Basler ace industrial cameras, which feature Sony IMX CMOS image sensors and GigE or USB3 interfaces, have been introduced. The acA2440-75um and acA2440-75uc (monochrome and color, respectively), feature a USB 3.0 interface and the 5 MPixel Sony IMX250 CMOS image sensor, which can reach a frame rate of 75 fps. The acA2040-120um and acA2040-120uc (mono and color), feature a USB 3.0 interface and the 3.2 MPixel IMX252 CMOS image sensor, which reaches speeds of 120 fps.

Basler also introduced four new models that feature the 5 MPixel IMX264 sensor: The acA2440-20gm and acA2440-20gc (mono and color), which feature a GigE interface and reach 20 fps, as well as the acA2440-35um and acA2440-35uc (mono and color), which feature a USB 3.0 interface and can reach 35 fps. Lastly, four models that feature the 3.2 MPixel Sony IMX265 sensor were introduced: The acA2040-35m and acA2040-35c (mono and color), which have a GigE interface and reach 35 fps, as well as the acA2040-55um and acA2040-55uc (mono and color), which have a USB 3.0 interface and reach 55 fps.

Color models of the camera also include the PGI feature set, which consists of a unique combination of 5x5 debayering, color-anti-aliasing, denoising and improved sharpness.
