Designed for deployment on drones, the FLIR Duo is a dual sensor thermal and visible light imager that is the same size and shape as the most popular action cameras, and includes similar features, such as on-board recording and remote control of camera functions. FLIR Duo features the Lepton thermal imaging sensor, which is a 160 x 120 uncooled VOx microbolometer imager with a 7.5 to 13.5 µm spectral band. The Duo also features a 1920 x 1080 visible color camera along with FLIR’s MSX (multispectral dynamic imaging) enhancement, which enhances thermal images with visible light detail for extra perspective. Additionally, Duo also comes with a fully radiometric variant called Duo R that delivers accurate, calibrated temperature measurements in every pixel. Duo enables users to switch between sensors during flight, and has two live video output options: analog video over 10-pin mini-USB connector, or digital video over micro-HDMI.
