DataMan 70 compact barcode readers introduced by Cognex
Cognexhas announced the release of the DataMan 70 series of compact barcode readers, which the company says delivers the highest read rates for 1D and 2D label-based barcodes in a form factor small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Dataman 70 barcode readers feature 1/3" CMOS image sensors that reach 60 fps, two green LED aimers, four independently-controlled red LED lights, and the following barcode reading algorithms: 1DMax, HotBars, and IDQuick. (Varies depending on model.) Additionally, the readers—which measure just 22.2 mm x 35.8 mm x 42.4 mm—are ideal for being mounted in tight spaces on production lines and in machinery, according to Cognex.
