Designed specifically for science andresearch applications, the FLIRX6900sc SLS and FLIR X8500sc SLS cameras are based on strained layer superlattice (SLS) detectors filtered for longwave infrared. The X6900sc SLS camera features a 640 x 512 SLS detector with a spectral range of 7.5 – 12.0 µm and can achieve a frame rate of up to 1004 fps. The X8500sc SLS features a 1280 x 1024 SLS detector with a spectral range of 7.5 – 10.5 µm and can achieve a frame rate of up to 181 fps. Both cameras can measure temperatures up to 3,000°C and feature simultaneous GigE Vision, Camera Link (Camera Link Full on the X6900sc SLS), and CoaXPress interfaces for live viewing, analysis, or recording.
