Multirotor UAV with gas and electric design to be highlighted at XPONENTIAL

As part of the startup showdown at XPONENTIAL 2017, Quaternium will showcase its HYBRiX20 hybrid gas-electric multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

As part of the startup showdown at XPONENTIAL 2017, Quaternium will showcase its HYBRiX20 hybrid gas-electric multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The HYBRiX20 features a range extender that provides more than 2 hours for operational flight with maximum payload, 4 hours with no payload, and is able to incorporate a wide range of sensors and payload accessories to fit specific application requirements. With a maximum size payload, the UAV—which targets applications including aerial surveys, monitoring or search and rescue—weighs 4.4 lbs. and travels at a top speed of nearly 44 mph.
