New embedded development board and PC announced by AAEON

The UP Xtreme Edge Computing System is built on the UP Xtreme board and powered by 8th generation Intel processors.

AAEON has announced a new family of products, the UPX system, that includes the UP Xtreme developer board and UP Extreme Edge embedded PC.

The UP Xtreme developer board can include up to 16 GB of onboard single dual channel DDR4 memory, has 64 GB of eMMC memory, 40-pin HAT and 100-pin docking connectors, m.2 2230 and 2280 slots, and mPCIe slots. The board can be expanded with wireless modules for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, and LTE, and is compatible with other UP Board modules featuring the Intel Movidius Myriad X vision processing unit (VPU). The UP Xtreme developer board has an operating temperature of 0° C to 60° C.

The UP Xtreme Edge Computing System is built on the UP Xtreme board, powered by 8th generation Intel Core and Celeron processors, fanless, and supports up to 16 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC memory. The system also features two external GPIO connections, two COM ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The UP Xtreme Edge has an operating temperature of -20° C to 70° C.
