The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has announced that Michel Ollivier of the French TIAMA Group, has joined the EMVA board of directors.
TIAMA Group specializes in inspection and control for the glass packaging industry with its TIAMA-MSC & SGCC brand, and inspection and control for the food and beverage industry with its Luceo brand. Ollivier, a member of the executive board at TIAMA, joins the EMVA board with a clear focus on the association’s future activities, such as regional groups and country chapters, and the relation management between integrators and component supplier.
"For me, the main objective of EMVA is to increase the competitiveness of its members. My personal objective will be to motivate more vision integrators to become members of the EMVA," says Ollivier.
Ollivier becomes the seventh member of the EMVA board. The EMVA General Assembly, the ultimate governing body of the EMVA, will be asked to finalize the decision during its next meeting in Vienna.
