Tordivel extends Scorpion compact vision system family

Tordivel has extended its series of Scorpion compact vision systems with a number of newmachine vision products, including the Scorpion 2D Stinger camera, the Scorpion stinger LEDspot illumination component, and an updated Scorpion 3D Stinger.

Tordivel has extended its series of Scorpion compact vision systems with a number of new products for 2D and 3D machine vision. Included in the new products is the Scorpion 2D Stinger camera, an industrial smart camera with IP 64 housing and GigE interface, and the Scorpion Stinger LEDspot illumination component, which is compatible with and integrated into Scorpion 2D and 3D Stinger cameras. The Scorpion Stinger 2D can illuminate and capture a moving object with speed up to 0.5 m/s and features VGA, SXGA, UXGA, and 5 MPixel resolutions. The Scorpion 3D stinger camera was also updated to include automatic LED and laser strobes. The new model, the Scorpion 3D Stinger MLaser, creates 3D images in real-time with stereo vision and a multiple-line laser. These products will be showcased at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26-28, 2013.
