Edmund Optics to showcase telecentric and hypercentric lenses at SPIE Photonics West
At SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6, Edmund Optics will demonstrate a variety of applications that utilize TECHSPEC telecentric lenses and TECHSPEC hypercentric lenses. TECHSPEC telecentric lenses, which are designed specifically for machine vision applications, feature a <0.2° telecentricity and are offered in either 2/3” or 1/2” format sensor sizes. TECHSPEC hypercentric lenses, which are suitable for use in component inspection applications, are offered in 2/3” or 1/2” format sensor size and can be used as long working distance borescopes. Edmund Optics will demonstrate the merits of using its TECHSPEC lenses in inspecting pipes for various defects.
