Raptor Photonics has released the Kingfisher family of CCD image sensor cameras designed specifically for fluorescence applications. The cameras feature Sony ICX674, ICX694, and ICX814 CCD image sensors in various sizes in a range of formats: vacuum deep cooled (Δ-111°C), stabilized cooled or at board level with custom cooling. Three models of Kingfisher cameras are currently available: The Kingfisher V, a deep-cooled vacuum 6 MPixel camera, the Kingfisher, a low-noise 2.8 MPixel camera, and the Kingfisher OEM Board, a board-level camera driven by Sony’s latest ICX sensors. Raptor Photonics will showcase the Kingfisher family of cameras at SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6.
