Sofradir EC’s ATOM 80 is an uncooled 80 x 80 microbolometer array thermal imaging core designed to detect heat images, enabling a number of applications, including traffic monitoring, intrusion detection, people counting, occupancy detection, and temperature measurement. The ATOM 80 features a spectral response of 8 to 14 µm, power consumption of less than 0.25W, an operating temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C), a frame rate of 30 Hz, and a USB 2.0 interface. The ATOM 80 thermal imaging core, which will be launched by Sofradir EC in the coming weeks, will be on display at SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6.
