Active Silicon to showcase CoaXPress and Camera Link frame grabbers at SPIE DSS 2013

At SPIE DSS 2014 from May 5-9 in Baltimore, MD, Active Silicon will showcase its FireBird range ofCoaxPress and Camera Link frame grabbers—which include quad, dual and single CoaXPress versions as well as single and dual Deca Camera Link variants. The multi-channel CoaXPress cards can provide simultaneous video acquisition from each CoaXPress link, with each link supporting up to 6.25 Gbps (CXP-6), while also providing a 20.8 Mbit/sec uplink and 13W of power to the camera per channel. The single Deca Camera Link model, the FireBird-1xCLD supports base, medium, full, and Deca modes, as well as Power over Camera Link. The FireBird-2xCLD supports two base, medium, full, and Deca cameras through one PCI Express connector, while both this model and the single Deca boards use the latest FPGA families, DDR3 memory, and an 8-lane Gen2 PCI Express interface.
