Point Grey to showcase latest Grasshopper3 and Blackfly machine vision cameras

During NI Week from August 4-7 in Austin, Texas, Point Grey will showcase the latest compact Blackfly cameras, as well as its Grasshopper3 USB3 and GigE camera lines.

During NI Week from August 4-7 in Austin, Texas, Point Grey will showcase the latest compact Blackfly cameras, as well as its Grasshopper3 USB3 and GigE camera lines. Blackfly GigE and USB3 Vision cameras are available with CCD and CMOS image sensors ranging from VGA to 5 MPixel in an ce-cube sized form factor. The first available Blackfly USB Vision model features the 1.3 MPixel Sony ICX445 CCD image sensor and has a frame rate of 30 fps.

Point Grey will also showcase its line of Grasshopper3 USB3 and GigE Vision cameras, which are available with CCD and CMOS image sensors ranging from 1.4 MPixel to 9.1 MPixel. Grasshopper3 cameras feature an FPGA and frame buffer-based architecture and a full image processing pipeline including color interpolation, gamma, and lookup table functionality.
