Point Grey to showcase new Chameleon3 camera family and others at VISION 2014

Among the USB3 and GigE Vision camera families that Point Grey will showcase at the VISION 2014 exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany is the newly-launched Chameleon3 camera line.

Among the USB3 and GigE Vision camera families that Point Grey will showcase at the VISION 2014 exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany is the newly-launched Chameleon3 camera line. The first three models in the USB3 Vision line, which can be converted to board-level models, are the 1.3 MPixel CM3-U3-13S2 and CM3-U3-13Y3 cameras and the 2.8 MPixel CM3-U3-28S4. The CM3-U3-13S2 features a 1/3" Sony ICX445 CCD image sensor with a 3.75 µm x 3.75 µm pixel size while the CM3-U3-13Y3 features a new 1/2" ON Semiconductor Python 1300 CMOS sensor with a 4.8 µm x 4.8 µm pixel size. The 2.8 MPixel CM3-U3-28S4 features a 1/1.8" Sony ICX818 CCD sensor with a 3.69 µm x 3.69 µm pixel size

Point Grey will also showcase its Blackfly series, which feature CCD and CMOS sensors, range from VGA to 5 MPixel models, and are available in USB3 and GigE Vision interfaces. The company will also showcase the Grasshopper3 series of cameras, which feature CCD and CMOS sensors with the throughput capabilities of USB 3.0 and GigE, and range from 1.4 MPixel to 12 MPixel models.
