On display at the Vision Research booth at SPIE Photonics West will be the released Phantom v2511 video camera, which can capture up to 25,600 fps at full 1 MPixel resolution. The camera features two HS-SDI ports and a 10GB Ethernet connection, along with a standard 1GB Ethernet connection. It is equipped with a 1 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 28 µm pixel size, 12-bit pixel depth, and Vision Research’s CineMag interface which allows the user to save a high-speed shot from camera memory to non-volatile storage. In addition, the camera features an image-based auto-trigger that allows the camera to be triggered from the motion of live images, making infrequent or unpredictable events easier to record on camera. The Phantom v2511 camera also comes with camera control software, a software development kit, a remote control unit, a Nikon F-Mount lens mount, and a number of video processing capabilities.
