Infrared camera from Sierra-Olympic to be showcased at Photonics West

At SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco, Sierra-Olympic Technologies will showcase its newly-launched Viento 640 infrared camera, which features a 640 x 480 uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) focal plane array with a 17 µm pixel size in either a 30 Hz version, or a 9 Hz version for easier export.

At SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco, Sierra-Olympic Technologies will showcase its newly-launched Viento 640 infrared camera, which features a 640 x 480 uncooled vanadium oxide (VOx) focal plane array with a 17 µm pixel size in either a 30 Hz version, or a 9 Hz version for easier export. The Viento 640 has a Camera Link interface, camera control via USB or RS-232 serial, a spectral response range of 8 to 14 µm, and user-selectable NTSC or PAL analog or 14-bit/8-bit Camera Link digital outputs. Furthermore, it is available with eight athermalized optics options including 6° HFOV, 9° horizontal field of view (HFOV), 12° HFOV, 17° HFOV, 24° HFOV, 37° HFOV, 44° HFOV, and 90°HFOV.
