Designed for use in such applications as astronomy, luminescence detection, absorption measurement, andmicroscopy; the iKon-M 912 CCD camera from Andor Technology delivers up to 95% quantum efficiency. The camera features a back-illuminated 512 x 512 CCD image sensor with a 24 µm pixel size that can achieve frame rates up to 14.4 fps. Andor’s iKon-M 912 also features a USB 2.0 interface, C-Mount lens mount, and an SDK that supports both Windows and Linux OS, with a LabVIEW VI package available. Additionally, the camera’s thermoelectric cooling (down to -148°F) enables the use of extremely long exposure times for weak signal detection.
