Newly added to the Mako line of industrial cameras is the Mako G-234 GigE camera, which Allied Vision touts as a suitable candidate for the transition from CCD to CMOS technology. The Mako-G234 camera features the 2.3 MPixel Sony IMX249 CMOS image sensor, which has a 5.86 µm pixel size and can achieve a frame rate of up to 40 fps at full resolution. The camera also features a GigE interface, a dynamic range of more than 73 dB, 10/12-bit depth, 64 Mbyte on-board FIFO, and is equipped with Allied Vision’s Vimba software development kit. The Mako G-234 GigE camera is suitable for use in industrial automation, robotics, quality control and inspection, and other machine vision applications.
