(Slideshow) Virtual reality system aids firefighter navigation
Researchers at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria have developed a mobile virtual reality head-mounted display system called ProFiTex to help firefighters navigate in the dark or in a fire. The system also provides position data to allow others to guide firefighters during a mission.
