Camera Link HS camera from PCO to be highlighted at VISION 2016

Camera Link HS cameras featuring scientific CMOS image sensors will be showcased by PCO at VISION 2016.

At the PCO booth at VISION 2016, the company will showcase its new pco.edge CLHS camera, which features a Camera Link HS interface and a scientific CMOS (sCMOS) image sensor. The new camera is available in two models: the pco.edge 4.2 and pco.edge 5.5. The pco.edge 5.5 features the 5.5 MPixel CIS2521 sCMOS sensor from Fairchild Imaging, which has a 6.5 µm pixel size and can reach a speed of 100 fps, while the pco.edge 4.2 is based on the 4.2 MPixel CIS2020A sCMOS sensor, which has a 6.5 µm pixel size and can reach a speed of 100 fps as well. Both cameras feature data transmission rates of up to 1.1 GBytes/s and are GenICam compliant.
