At the PCO booth at VISION 2016, the company will showcase its new pco.edge CLHS camera, which features a Camera Link HS interface and a scientific CMOS (sCMOS) image sensor. The new camera is available in two models: the pco.edge 4.2 and pco.edge 5.5. The pco.edge 5.5 features the 5.5 MPixel CIS2521 sCMOS sensor from Fairchild Imaging, which has a 6.5 µm pixel size and can reach a speed of 100 fps, while the pco.edge 4.2 is based on the 4.2 MPixel CIS2020A sCMOS sensor, which has a 6.5 µm pixel size and can reach a speed of 100 fps as well. Both cameras feature data transmission rates of up to 1.1 GBytes/s and are GenICam compliant.
