CMOS image sensors from Canon to be distributed by Phase 1 Technology

Machine vision and imaging component distributor Phase 1 Technology has been selected as the first distributor in the U.S. of Canon’s line of advanced CMOS image sensors.

Machine vision and imaging component distributor Phase 1 Technology has been selected as the first distributor in the U.S. of Canon’s line of advanced CMOS image sensors.

Phase 1 Technology will offer three CMOS image sensors from Canon:

  • 2.2 MPixel progressive scan, rolling shutter CMOS sensor that features a 19 µm pixel size. Available in RGB color, RGB + IR color, or monochrome. 60 fps max frame rate.
  • 5 MPixel progressive scan, global shutter CMOS image sensor that features a 3.4 µm pixel size. Available in RGB color. 120 fps max frame rate.
  • 120 MPixel progressive scan, rolling shutter CMOS image sensor, which features a 2.2 µm pixel size. Available in RGB color, RGB + IR color, or monochrome. 9.4 fps max frame rate.
