New to the Genie Nano GigE Vision line of machine vision cameras from Teledyne DALSA are color and monochrome versions (Genie Nano C1240 and M1240, respectively) of a camera built around a PYTHON P3 sensor that is designed for cost-conscious imaging applications. The sensor is the 1.3 MPixel ON Semiconductor PYTHON1300 P3 global shutter CMOS image sensor, which has a 4.8 µm pixel size and has a standard frame rate of 90 fps and 93 fps in TurboDrive mode, which offers faster frame rates and full image quality. Additionally, the GigE Vision cameras feature Teledyne DALSA’s Trigger-to-Image-Reliability for system control and debugging, support for Linux, and a 44 x 29 x 21 mm footprint.
