Seeing beyond the visible: Latest imaging techniques and applications

In today’s machine vision market, numerous technologies exist to capture images beyond the visible spectrum. Perhaps the most commonly used products for non-visible applications are infrared cameras, hyperspectral cameras, and multispectral cameras. In the past, applications for these cameras typically included those beyond the factory floor—including security and surveillance, research and development, scientific imaging—but recent developments have led to the increased adoption of these products in machine vision and industrial automation processes, as well.

During a free webcast on March 13, Tom Brennan, President, Artemis Vision, will highlight the various types of non-visible imaging technologies and products, while providing various real-world application examples. Additionally, he will discuss the benefits of using non-visible imaging techniques and how they can be successfully deployed.
