Teledyne FLIR has introduced the Quartet™ Embedded Solution for TX2, a customized carrier board that enables integration of up to 4X USB3 machine vision cameras at full bandwidth. It includes the NVIDIA Jetson deep learning hardware accelerator and comes preintegrated with Teledyne FLIR’s Spinnaker® SDK, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with Teledyne FLIR Blackfly S board level cameras. The board's integrated SOM design eliminates the need for peripheral hardware and host systems. The board, which is compatible with TF38 FPC cables, is designed so that engineers and integrators can pack functionality into tight spaces, allowing decisions on the edge, which is especially useful in applications involving inspection, mobile robotics, traffic systems, and various types of unmanned vehicles, Teledyne FLIR said in a product release.
