Frame Grabbers Support CoaXPress and Camera Link

Active Silicon’s FireBird frame grabbers are GenICam compliant, support GPU processing, and work without CPU use.

Active Silicon’s FireBird frame grabbers include acquisition solutions for CoaXPress and Camera Link. The frame grabbers are GenICam compliant, support GPU processing (AMD’s DirectGMA and NVIDIA’s GPUDirect for Video) and work without CPU use. They are compatible with Windows, Linux, and QNX computer operating systems. Active Silicon also markets a software development kit, ActiveSDK, and front-end software, ActiveCapture. The CoaXPress frame grabbers offer Quad, Dual, and Single CXP boards, and CoaXPress v2., and Power over CoaXPress (PoCXP). Meanwhile, the Camera Link frame grabbers support Power over Camera Link (PoCL) and come in base, medium, full, and 80-bit configurations. The Camera Link frame grabbers also have embedded formats, such as cPCI Serial.
