AI-based Vision Software

Framework provides classification, object detection, and object tracking in thermal and visible light wavelengths.
July 1, 2022

Teledyne FLIR has released Prism AI, a software framework that provides classification, object detection, and object tracking in thermal and visible light wavelengths. Built for automotive perception-system developers, Prism AI includes features such as visible-and-thermal image fusion and advanced thermal image processing capabilities that provide detection of pedestrians and animals in challenging lighting conditions. Compatible with Teledyne FLIR's thermal cameras including Boson®, Tau® 2, and the FLIR ADK™, Prism AI also includes production-required features such as authentication between the thermal camera and the electronic control unit. A suite of Prism AI tools enables data integration with the recently released Teledyne FLIR Conservator™ data lifecycle management software as well as the company’s annotated data training sets for both thermal and visible light spectrums.
