MVTec Opens Second Location in China
Continuing its international expansion, MVTec Software GmbH opened its second office in China.
The new sales office is in Shenzhen and will be staffed with two employees from pre-sales engineering and sales. MVTec (Munich, Germany; www.mvtec.com) launched a location in Kunshan, China, near Shanghai, in 2020.
“China is already one of our most important markets, so we must ensure the best possible support for our customers on-site. In addition, we still see good growth opportunities in China. That is why we have decided to open another MVTec location in Shenzhen," says Martin Krumey, Vice President Sales at MVTec.
Earlier this year, MVTec opened an office in Lyon, France to work with French-speaking customers in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
MVTec develops and markets HALCON, comprehensive software for machine vision, and MERLIC, machine vision software that does not require programming knowledge. The company also markets its Deep Learning Tool, which helps end users correctly label training data for deep learning algorithms.
In addition to Germany, France and China, MVTec also has a presence in the United States.
